ITF Scotland World Championships Results 2013
The 2013 ITF World Championships was held in Benidorm, Spain from 24th – 27th October. ITF Scotland had 30 competitors, 2 Umpire’s, 4 Coaches, 2 Officials and 21 supporters travel to the event.
This event is the biggest on the ITF calendar, with 52 countries and 1042 competitors taking part this year. Scotland done very well as a nation taking 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze Medals meaning we came 19th in the overall country rankings.
Mr & Mrs McIlvaney both travelled to Spain as part of the ITF Scotland Team, Mr McIlvaney in his role as Team Manager and Mrs McIlvaney to compete in the Senior Female Team.

SILVER Katrina Carr: -45kg Junior Female Sparring
SILVER Junior Male Team Pattern: Liam Bain, Greg Spark, Liam King, Iain O’Hare, Stewart Mellon, Michael McRoberts.
SILVER Senior Female Team Power: Gillian McIlvaney, Stephanie Willis, Holly Bagshaw & Rheannan Brown
BRONZE Stephanie Willis: Senior Female Power
BRONZE Julie Whyte: -56kg Senior Female Sparring
