This year our first Inter Club Championships of the year was held on Sunday 12th March, with 106 competitors ranging from 4 years old to 15 years old taking part.
We were very impressed with the progress and development of the children from this time last year, when we started our Inter Club competitions after a few years break. Throughout the day, all the children showed a great respect for each other, competing in a friendly and encouraging environment. Win, loose or draw there was always a smile, and a friendly hug after each bout.
Thank you to those who helped, and umpired on the day, giving up their time, and to the parents, who are alway encouraging, and supportive. We look forward to the next competition.
